Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Dear User, thank you for visiting our website.

Below, we describe Aire Studio’s data processing practices regarding the personal data of users who visit the site, in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

This privacy notice relates exclusively to the website https://aire-studio.co and does not apply to any other websites, pages or online services that may be accessed via hyperlinks contained within it.

This privacy notice may change over time: we invite you to check this page periodically.

Data Controller (1)

The Data Controller for data collected via Aire Studio is Eleonora Casalini (VAT No. 03979221201), who can be contacted at hello@aire-studio.co.

Data processed (2)

2.1 Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate Aire Studio automatically collect, during normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols, including:

  • IP address;

  • browser type and parameters of the device used to connect;

  • name of the Internet service provider (ISP);

  • geographical area, date and time of the visit;

  • referring and exit web pages;

  • number of clicks, if any.

This data is processed solely to obtain statistical information on website use and to verify its proper functioning. It is not retained for longer than is necessary for such statistical analysis, except where required for the investigation of criminal offences by the judicial authorities.

2.2 Data provided voluntarily by the user

This category includes data that the user provides voluntarily:

  • by completing the contact form on the website: the sender’s email address and any other information contained in the message are collected and used exclusively to respond to the enquiry;

  • by subscribing to the newsletter via the dedicated form integrated into the website (provided by the Substack platform): the email address provided by the user is collected.

Purposes and legal basis of the processing (3)

Newsletter — specific details. Subscription requires an active, unambiguous action by the user (no pre-ticked boxes). Every newsletter email contains a link to unsubscribe independently at any time, in addition to the option to write to hello@aire-studio.co.

Retention period (4)

Data is retained for the time strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • contact details (form): until the request has been processed and for the time necessary to comply with any legal obligations;

  • email address for the newsletter: until the user withdraws their consent (via the unsubscribe link included in every email or by writing to hello@aire-studio.co);

  • browsing data: deleted immediately after statistical aggregation.

Methods of processing (5)

Personal data may be processed both in paper form and using IT tools (e.g. cloud systems, digital storage), in compliance with the technical and organisational security measures set out in the GDPR.

Categories of data recipients (6)

Personal data is not sold to third parties. The following may have access to such data, within the limits of the purposes set out above:

  • parties authorised to access the data by law (EU or Member State);

  • suppliers acting as data processors on behalf of Aire Studio, including in particular:

Transfer of data outside the EU (7)

Data processing takes place primarily in Italy and within the European Union. Some service providers (in particular Substack and Google Analytics) are based in the United States. In such cases, the transfer of data is ensured by one of the following legal bases:

  • the provider’s adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), recognised as adequate by the European Commission in its 2023 decision; or

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, where the DPF is not applicable.

Note: the former ‘Privacy Shield’ referred to in previous versions of this policy was declared invalid by the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2020 and has been replaced by the Data Privacy Framework mentioned above.

Your rights (8)

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before withdrawal (Article 7(3) of the GDPR);

  2. request access to your personal data (Article 15 of the GDPR);

  3. have inaccurate data rectified or supplemented (Article 16 of the GDPR);

  4. have your data erased, where the legal conditions are met (Article 17 of the GDPR);

  5. to have processing restricted (Article 18 of the GDPR);

  6. to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability, Article 20 of the GDPR);

  7. to request the direct transfer of your data to another data controller, where technically feasible (Article 20 of the GDPR);

  8. to object at any time to the processing, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 of the GDPR);

  9. not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produce legal effects concerning you, unless you have given your explicit consent (Article 22 of the GDPR);

  10. lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR) — in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali — or bring the matter before the competent court (Article 79 of the GDPR).

To exercise these rights, please write to hello@aire-studio.co, stating your first name, surname, email address and details of your request.

Minors (9)

The use of the services offered via Aire Studio is prohibited for anyone under the age of eighteen (18). By browsing the website and/or completing a form, the user declares that they have reached the age of majority as defined by their country of residence.

Note on the use of artificial intelligence (10)

Some visual content on the website (relating exclusively to projects in the personal portfolio) is created with the aid of artificial intelligence tools. These are renderings and mock-ups for illustrative and creative purposes only; they are not images of actual products or clients.
